Online Learning Activities of Politeknik Negeri Medan Students Using Social Media at The Beginning of Pandemic Covid-19

Abstract

The rapid spread of the corona virus has forced the government to issue an online learning policy. This policy is a challenge for universities, especially those that do not have experience in online learning method and technology. Social media is used to become a medium for online learning to ensure effective learning activities for students. Previous research explained about the advantages of online learning through social media when combined with conventional learning. However, how student learning activities when they do online learning without face-to-face contact with the teacher need to be evaluated.
